What is BASE?
BASE is a rinsing solution able to remove antibiotics from various human tissues intended for transplantation (cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, osteotendons, skin and amniotic membrane) after decontamination.
The solution also removes the DMSO residues from tissues after cryopreservation and preserves the integrity of the tissue, due to the proprietary formula based on RPMI 1640.
The BASE rinsing solution can also be used for tissue transport to the bank or during tissue dissection.
