What is Silicone Oil Pack?

SOP, Silicone Oil Pack, includes one highly purified silicone oil (100% pure polydimethylsiloxane), 1.000 cSt, 1.300 cSt, 2.000 cSt, 5.000 cSt or 5.700 cSt, 10 ml, sterile and apyrogenic, packaged in prefilled syringe, intended for long-term replacement of the vitreous humour extracted during vitreoretinal surgery, and one connection tubing to the vitrectomy system.

Product warrants a stable tamponade over time and reduced incidence of complications.

The ready-to-use syringe, made of inert, plastic and silicone oil compatible material, connects to different vitrectomy systems by means of the connection tubing and increases the patient’s safety by reducing the risk of breakage during handling or surgery.

You can choose the most suitable pack for your needs by combining the silicone oil RS-OIL ECS at the preferred viscosity to the tubing compatible with your vitrectomy system.
