Abstract: We investigated the decontamination efficacy of BASE.128 against clinical isolates of the most frequent skin allograft contaminants. Our results showed that BASE.128 eliminated effectively all the investigated microorganisms. Decontamination efficacy varied as a function of the temperature. The maximum effect was obtained after tissue incubation of tissue in BASE.128 at 37°C for 24 h.
